Our move went seamless. However, we were informed that our goods will be delivered in the afternoon. We received a call early in the morning that the truck would arrive within 20 minutes of the call – 8.30am. Fortunately, I planned a whole day home office otherwise the movers would have stood in front of a locked door. I would have appreciated a call on Sunday to prepare for Monday morning delivery.

The most critical item for the customer is the delivery date and time. The date was correct but the timing changed several times. However, the driver “Dirk” was extremely polite and help-full and handled his ‘monster Vehicle’ ver well. My special thanks to Bianca Oliver for her very good handling of the case.

The service we received from the initial contact with our move manager, Amy, to the delivery of our shipment was smooth and efficient. We were kept informed at all stages and the movers on the day went “above and beyond” given that the access to our premises was very difficult. They were helpful and friendly and did an excellent job.

Fantastic experience. I had a small shipment but it was complex with two drops – the team at Schmidt were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and I appreciate this all the more when I know that some of the bigger firms would not even quote for the work. In addition to the excellent service from every team member, not a single glass was broken, really outstanding.

I’ve moved multiple times between the US and Continent. By far, you were the most communicative, most efficient, and most professional – all that without being the most expensive. We have moved many times , but this was transatlantic and was extremely nervous, as we had a lot of glass wear and china.
From Florida to the Netherlands we were kept in touch the whole time. From there to Spain we were always informed about our belongings. I appreciate the care our moving manager handled it all.

Really had a very good experience with Schmidt Global Relocations. The communication was smooth and provided well in advance. The furniture was well taken care off and delivered on the spots where we wanted the furniture to be placed. Plans were also made on the spot (on the delivery date) to bring furniture into our house via the window, to ensure that there is no damage of the walls or furniture. Thank you for the good service provided.

Everything went very smoothly and arrived intakt (with the exeption of a couple of wine glasses that I should have packed better). Communication was very good from start to finish. Only 1 very mild feedback: some of the information about creating an inventory and printing labels for each box came rather last minute before pickup. But I was kept well informed of each stage of the move and I can recommend Schmidt and International Van Lines without reservation.

The whole process from the initial enquiry up until the delivery date was well managed. There was a smooth and efficient communication flow.

Price and sales service was good. Movers on both side were great. I was doing a bit of chasing with the move manager on timings and paperwork requirements. Overall I would use again.

I shopped around for an international mover for months in anticipation of a difficult process. One of my best friends was head of logistics for GAP for many years and warned me it could be arduous. He was correct. I finally settled on Schmidt for a variety of reasons: the estimate was better than average, the reviews (I read so many!) were good, and I like doing business with the Dutch. It usually turns out well. (Yes, I know you’ll point to my Lowlander name, but my parents were French-speaking Belgians and had a great prejudice towards the Flemish. They were neutral about Netherlanders. Full disclosure.) My conversations with Joost swung the balance. He was just normal, cheerful, professional, human. Shanine was great: responsive, professional, clearly competent. A little warily, I made the decision.

Overall I’m very happy with the services provided by Schmidt in NL as well as by Grace in Australia. The uplift when smoothly and Schmidt was accomodating in collecting a number of things before the big collection. On the Australian end Grace was able to support me by keeping things in storage for 9 months while I sorted a number of things out with our house. We were in a rental for about a year and I didn’t want to move all of my stuff (A LOT OF STUFF!) into a rental where it wouldn’t fit only to move it again.

The movers came in the time zone they had told us. They parked the truck in such a way that the buses and cars were not hindered in anyway. Thank you guys!
They brought in all the packages, correctly and also took great care when taking off all the packaging and put all the cartboard etc in the truck, they cleaned up everything and set all the fruniture up according to what our wish was!
They were friendly, practical, asking questions how and where everything should be located. Very good experience and there was no evidence of anything broken nor damaged.

The move went very well. I was happy with the packing services on the US side as well as the unloading and unpacking services on the Italy side, Happily there was no damage on this shipment. My biggest issue was the timing of the shipment and delivery. It took much longer to get here than I was hoping for. The communication form the delivery manager on the Europe side was excellent.

From start to finish Schmidt and their partner in the US were wonderful. Annisa, Dominik and Miko in Europe were excellent as was Alisa in the US. Friendly, kind and thorough. I very highly recommend them if you are in need of international movers.
